Movie Posters
A project from my typography class
Overview
For this typography project, I designed a series of movie posters exploring different typographic approaches to the same film. Each poster reflects a unique visual direction, focusing on how type can communicate tone, genre, and narrative. I experimented with type hierarchy, composition, and font selection to evoke distinct emotional responses while maintaining visual consistency across the series. This project challenged me to think critically about the role of typography in storytelling and how it functions as a key design element in promotional media.
Design Process
This is the process I went through to with one of the first posters I made, The first one I made was a Rocky poster and I had a lot of Ideas about what it might end up looking like.
