Visual Design Project Where We Were Taught the Basics of Layer Masks
Overview
This was a project all the way back from freshman year in Visual Design. It was the class where many first learned the basics of Photoshop and Illustrator. We had an entire module based around learning layer masks starting with some attempts everyone made and finishing up with our own original idea. This was one of my favorite projects from that class, which was one of the more fun classes of my time at Quinnipiac
Attempt 1
This was the first attempt in the class I had made at making a layer mask. I had some experience doing it in my high school graphic design class, but it was a nice refresher.
Attempt 2
This was our second attempt and it was more complex than any I had done before. It was a valuable part of the learning process and helped me hone my skills in Photoshop
Attempt 3
This was the final part of the layer mask project where we made our own design. I really enjoyed this part as there were not many guidelines and I got to do my own thing.
